Using Biotrail
By creating an account or using Biotrail you agree to these terms, our rules and our privacy policy. You can use the free tools without an account.
- You must be at least 13, or older where your country requires it.
- Give an email address you can access, and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Pick a username you have a right to use. We may reclaim names that impersonate a person or brand, or that sit unused to be resold.
Your content
You own what you put on Biotrail: your words, photos, links, products and designs. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store, display, resize and deliver your content on your page, cards, kit and in your scheduled posts. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You confirm you have the right to post what you post, and that it follows the rules. We don't claim ownership, add affiliate tags to your links, or use your content to train AI.
Selling on your page
Biotrail doesn't process payments. Product, tip and booking blocks send buyers to the checkout you choose (such as Stripe, PayPal, Gumroad or Shopify), so every sale is between you and your buyer on that service, under its terms.
- We take 0% of your sales. Your payment provider's fees still apply.
- You're responsible for your products, delivery, refunds, taxes and following the law where you and your buyers are.
Your audience's data
Emails, messages and details people give you through your page are yours to use, and yours to protect. Use them only in ways those people would expect, follow the email and privacy laws that apply to you (for example, only email people who signed up), and delete them when asked.
Social planner and connected accounts
When you connect a social network, you authorise Biotrail to post on your behalf exactly what you schedule. You remain responsible for those posts and for following each network's own terms. Networks can change or withdraw access at any time; if a post can't be sent, we'll tell you in the planner.
Price
Biotrail is free during early access. If we introduce paid extras later, we'll announce them in advance, the features that are free today will stay free, and we'll never charge a fee on your sales. See pricing.
Suspension and closing your account
We suspend pages only for breaking a published rule. When we do, we tell you which rule and why, a person reviews any appeal, and you can still download your data. Illegal content may be removed immediately and reported where the law requires.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion from our servers is immediate and permanent; database backups roll off within 60 days.
The service and our responsibility
We work hard to keep Biotrail fast and available, but we provide it “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copy of anything important; the export in your account menu makes that easy.
To the extent the law allows, Biotrail isn't liable for indirect losses, such as lost sales or profits, or for content and websites that creators link to. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Biotrail grows. We'll change the date above and give account holders notice of significant changes before they apply. If you keep using Biotrail afterwards, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can export your data and close your account.
